Wilhelm Schultz
Wilhelm matriculated at Gelofte High School in Pinetown and completed his undergraduate degree at Stellenbosch University. He served his articles at SDK Chartered Accountants (SA) in Durbanville where he ended up working for 11 years as manager in the auditing department. In 2009, he became a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants, and in 2017, he became an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). In his spare time, Wilhelm enjoys drinking good coffee, playing the odd round of golf, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Gerhard Brand
After matriculating, Gerhard started studying part-time at the University of South Africa and obtained his BCompt degree in 2009, whereafter he completed his articles. In 2012, he became a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants. Due to his passion for tax, Gerhard completed a postgraduate diploma in Tax Law at the University of Stellenbosch in 2018. He joined BFS Konsult in March 2018, specialising in accounting and tax-related matters. When not at the office, you can find Gerhard spending his time with his wife and two little girls or on the golf course, trying to play golf (and yes, he is still only trying). Gerhard’s wife firmly believes that he will never stop studying.
Mieke Schultz
Mieke matriculated at Robertson High School and completed her BAcc degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 2003, whereafter she completed her Honours degree at UNISA. She served her articles at Haumann Rodger in Durbanville and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2008. In 2016, Mieke was registered at the IRBA as a Registered Auditor. In her spare time, she enjoys playing netball and spending time with her kids and family.
